First Aid Trainings of Multiplicators

Malteser Albania has completed the first phase of the project “First Aid in Schools” with students of the secondary and high schools in Shkodra and Lezha according to the agreement with the Ministry of Education.
The training has been held on May-November 2012 in 5 secondary and high schools in Lezha, with 85 trained students and 10 secondary and high schools in Shkodra, with 195 trained students during .
The training consisted in 8 hours per person and all the trained students have passed through an examination and will receive the First Aid Certificate signed by Malteser and the Ministry of Education.
On 7-18 of January 2013, it was held the second phase of the project “First Aid in Schools” which consisted in organizing trainings of trainers (multiplicators). The students who received the best results from the FA training examination were chosen to be trained as multiplicators. The students were from the schools: “Dëshmorët e Prishtinës”, “Shpresa për të Ardhmen”, “Maria Ndihmëtare”, and “Shkolla Austriake”. The last training was held with the Malteser volunteers. There were 20 students and volunteers trained as multiplicators. The aim of training multiplicators is to teach them how to train other students in their schools.
The trainer who leaded the training was Gregorio Barberi, from the Italian Organization of the Order of Malta, who voluntary came to train multiplicators.
