The city streets have dressed the festive November uniform. Red and black flags wave in the cold winter wind, an invitation to proudly commemorate the Independence Day.
Those who better feel this atmosphere are the kindergartens and school children, who have transformed their classrooms into theater scenes.
Between joy and emotion, the children of the Malteser kindergarten, have performed in front of their parents and teachers. Songs, dances, recitations, drama about the independence feast have been simply and wonderfully combined with their red and black dresses. Ismail Qemali, Luigj Gurakuqi, Isa Boletini and Marigo were so beautifully interpreted by the little actors, who have felt grown up and important for a day.
Even the Roma and Egyptian children have gathered at the Malteser Center for Roma and Egyptian communities, under the care of the volunteers of the Albanian Organization of the Order of Malta.
At the beginning they have drawn and have painted flags and hats, have decorated the room, to continue then with their feast, with songs, recitations and dances.
