The project will achieve its aim by carrying out a series of comparative study courses in the partner countries and record the best practices. The project will give partners the opportunity to introduce the best practices in their organization and develop the skills of their staff.
On 28 February – 3 March 2017, in Shkoder Albania, it was held the second Study visit on Spreading Community Life Model.
The aim of “Spreading Community Life Model” study visit in Shkoder-Albania was to introduce good practices of community life in our region from the working group of Albania, which is made of Albanian Organization Order of Malta, Regional Education Department, “Deshmoret e Prishtines” school, Municipality of Vaudejes, Elderly Centre “BESA”, Multidisciplinary centre for disabled children Sucruc/Tuz Montenegro.
On February 28, the meeting was held in Shkodra at the premises of the “Deshmoret e Prishtines” school. The partners and other public and nonpublic stakeholders and interested parties were introduced with the good practice “Our school as communitarian center”.
On the second day, March 1st, in Vaudejes municipality the meeting started with the visit to the Multidisciplinary Community Center for Elderly People “BESA”.
Project partners and interested parties were introduced with the good practice a permanent elderly center, which is one of the best models in Albania.
On the third day, March 2, in Sucruc municipality of Tuz Montenegro, there was the visit to the premises of the multidisciplinary centre for children with disabilities “Sanctae Crucis”. The Centre for disabled children Sanctae Crucis, Tuz in Montenegro, was established in 2008. It operates under the leadership of Father Frano Dushaj, funded and supported by a Catholic association and has very little support by the state. The center hosts a large number of children of different religions, who are treated for 40 different diagnoses: psychosomatic problems, motor skills, autism, etc.
