The Lent days are very intensive with spiritual, awareness and social activities for all believers, but especially for the volunteers of the Albanian Organization of the Order of Malta.
As every Friday during Lent, the volunteers were organized in distributing food to people in need, accompanying disabled people to pray the Station of Cross to the Cathedral of Shkodra, etc.
This Friday has been somehow different to all the volunteers, as their activities culminated with the prayer “24 hour for the Lord”, held according to the initiative of the Holy Father in every diocese during the Lent Season.
In the Cathedral of St. Stephen the prayer was held on March 4 and 5 and part of this prayer for two hours were even the staff and volunteers the Albanian Organization of the Order of Malta.
