On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Independence, Malteser Albania in cooperation with the Development Centre and the secondary school “Shpresa për të ardhmen”, (Hope for the Future) in Shkodra, organized an activity with disabled people of the Development Center and the house “Missionaries of Charity Mother Teresa”.
The school “Shpresa për të ardhmen” welcomed the disabled people and performed for them a play entitled “Rozafat” and sang some songs for the Independence feast.
The transportation of the people was made possible by the Malteser staff and volunteers. A part of them were transported from the Development Center to the school by Malteser cars and those who are in wheelchairs were transported on foot.
The atmosphere created was a modest chance that these people feel equal to all of us!
