This Day was attended by the Apostolic Nuncio, H.E. Archbishop Ramiro Moliner Inglés, the Archbishop of Shkodër-Pult, H.E. Mgrs. Angelo Massafra, the Bishop of Sapa and President of Malteser Albania, H.E. Mgrs. Lucjan Avgustini, the Bishop of Lezha H.E. Mgrs. Ottavio Vitale, and the Bishop of Rrëshen H.E. Mgrs. Christopher Palmieri.
The celebration opened with the greeting of Don Roberto Ferranto, responsible for the Albanian Catholic Youth, who invited in his greeting the Mayor of Lezha, Mr. Victor Tusha. Other greetings followed: Mgrs. Vitales and H.E. Mgrs. Inglés, which were followed by the performances organized on this occasion: the Catholic musical band “Uznova” with several songs and instrumental pieces, the “Ambassadors of Peace” with various pantomimes, etc. Vedat Ademi, the well known Albanian singer was invited to sing several songs from his repertoire.
In the end, Archbishop Massafra, brought this day to its closure, quoting the words of Pope Francis that the youth is the present and the future of the country.
Malteser youth was part of this activity. The Malteser Ambulance and the First Aid Team were present as well.
