This year the Bundesjugendlager (28.07 – 04.08.2018) was organized in the diocese of Speyer, also commonly referred to as the Tuscany of Germany. The motto of this activity was „Rhein ins Leben – ab in die Pfalz“.
The Albanian Organization of the Order of Malta was represented by 10 people, 8 volunteers and 2 staff members. We spent a wonderful week, joining our peers in numerous activities that had been put together by the hardworking staff. It was great getting to know people representing cultures from around the world.
Except the marvelous moments we spent at the camp, we also had the possibility to visit the city and the nearby areas. Two holy masses accompanied us throughout this unforgettable summer adventure.
To conclude, we are extremely thankful to all, who made it possible for us to be part of this amazing experience, especially Malteser Albania, Malteser Jugend and Head of Foreign Aid Department of Malteser Hilfsdienst.
