Informed by the representatives of the municipality of Shkodra on the very difficult situation of another Roma community that lives in tents and cabins near the shore of Drini River, asked also by the Emergency Commission of Shkodra Region, Malteser Albania support the second Roma community
(45 Roma families, 120 people) every day with hot meals and clothes.
It is the same situation like with all Roma community in our region.
Stating from yesterday, Civil Protection structures of Malteser Albania prepare and distribute everyday hot meals for 250 persons (nearly half of them children).
Medical staff is also offering its services to this community.
