The diocesan youth day is an activity which is organized every year on Saturday, one day before Palm Sunday.
This year, the activity was held on April 9, 2009, at the surroundings of Velipoja Parish, organized by the Diocesan Youth Commission leaded by Dom Vlash Palaj.
The youth from different parishes of the diocese and from youth groups, after the greeting of Dom Vlash and a short introduction, were presented with different parts as, songs, dances and animations.
After a short time, while the youth had the possibility of confession, it was the celebration of the Holy Mass by H.E Angelo Massafra, Archbishop of Shkodër-Pult in co-celebration with other priests present. Then matches of football and volleyball were held.
Malteser Albania was presented with its service group, which offered its help in the First Aid and in the kitchen, offering for all the people present sandwiches prepared by themselves and refreshments. Everything was prepared and arranged in the two tents at the corners of the camp by the civil protection team of Malteser.
There were 23 volunteers present who offered their service and 2 staff members.
The activity ended by 5.30 pm after eight hours of being and enjoying together.
