On December 3, 2009, it was organized the “Solidarity feast for disabled people” in Shkodra.
On this occasion, the Development Center for disabled children, organized a feast called “Faith, Hope, Love are the things that remain” in one of the bars in the center of Shkodra. For the occasion there were present Mrs. Jozefina Topalli, Chairman of the Parliament of Albania, Mr Maxhid Cungu, Perfect of Shkodra district, representatives of Municipality, representatives of different NGO-s, the special school of disabled children “3 Dhjetori” and the local TV-s.
There was a children’s show at the center of the city and a fair of handmade fancywork made by the disabled children. On this occasion Malteser Albania participated as a collaborator of the Development Center of disabled children and a part of this activity was financed by Malteser.
