In the frame of Easter celebrations, Malteser Albania celebrated with the Roma children, the disabled girls who live at “Missionaries of Charity Mother Teresa” in Shkodra and with the children of Malteser Kindergarten.
During the Holy Week, 10 Malteser volunteers were engaged in dying 240 eggs with the Malteser symbol, at its headquarters, and after these eggs have been given during Easter feast.
In the Village of Peace, the volunteers helped the Roma children dye eggs and decorate them according to their preferences. During the Easter celebrations, they organized the traditional game of cracking the eggs, and the children have been entertained celebrating and eating the Eater cake.
Even at the “Missionaries of Charity”, the volunteers have dyed eggs with the girls and have celebrated together. After the feast, they have accompanied them to the Church.
At the “Malteser” Kindergarten, the volunteers have offered to children cakes and the eggs they had previously dyed and played with the children.
In this way, Malteser not only experiences itself the joy and love of Easter, but also shares it with others.
