Albanian Organization of the Order of Malta strongly believes in the power of education as a means to ensure a better future for younger generations. As a result, our afterschool project aims to foster education for children from socially and economically disadvantaged families.
This afterschool project provides educational support (teachers and social worker helps children carry out their homework in different subjects) and develops social skills for 20 children from 7-11 years old.
This has included also children who have dropped out of school and should be reintegrated. Children of our center are supported through socialization and informal education initiatives such as sports and games, animation and recreational activities, computers trainings etc.
