On the occasion of the Women’s Day, Malteser Albania volunteers in cooperation with Nuns of MC have organized a journey to Tirana with the girls who live at the house “Missionaries of Charity” Mother Teresa.
On 8th March, in the morning the girls accompanied by six Malteser volunteers and two Nuns traveled to Tirana.During the trip they were entertained in company of music and funny games leaded by volunteers.
Once we reached the “City Park” in Tirana, girls helped by volunteers started to practice skating in one of the skating races. At noon, they were served refreshments and pizza by the volunteers who helped to organize this activity. In this activity, considerable number of girls took part, who spent some lovely hours in the company of our volunteers.
This day was very special and impressive for the girls and volunteers too.
