For the second year Malteser Albania organized the summer camp with disabled girls who live at the House Missionaries of Charity Mother Teresa in Shkodra. This year, under the motto”: “Malteser Youth loves to care”, the camp lasted for four days.
This camp was organized in the frame of the project “Consultation and Service Center”, where the Malteser Albania volunteers offer different social and entertaining activities to the disabled children and girls who live at the House Missionaries of Charity (M.C.) Mother Teresa in Shkodra.
Thirty-one disabled girls were part of the camp. They had different activities during these days: sand and water games, swimming lessons, and different entertainments during the beach time and entertaining games, dances, embroidery, etc, during the moments in the camp territory.
The girls had a very good time in the company of the volunteers, who continue to work weekly with these girls and who now have become like their brothers and sisters, offering much love and joy in their life.
