In the framework of the International Nurses Day, the Albanian Organization of the Order of Malta, in collaboration with the Department of Nursing of the University “Luigi Gurakuqi” in Shkodra, organized a health activity.
This activity consisted in offering some free medical services to the population, such as:
-measurement of glycaemia
-measurement of arterial pressure
-measurement of weight and height, and body mass index (BMI).
The event took place on Monday, May 16, 2016, from 9am-12pm, at three locations:
-near the Rectorate
-near the Post Office
– at the Faculty of Natural Sciences
In addition to these services, people in need received also:
-electrocardiogram (EKG)
-spirometer.
These visits were held at the premises of the Albanian Organization of the Order of Malta (Malteser) from 4:00pm-7pm and the service was offered to 250 people.
