Cologne / Aachen: On September 20-22, Malteser Hilfsdients celebrated the 60th anniversary of its establishment. Many activities have been held during these days.
The feast started on Friday, with the Federal Assembly. On Saturday, during the second part of the activities, the participants headed to the stadium Tivoli, where it was held national championship among 53 Malteser groups, youth and adults from the fields education paramedic. Prominent observers was the Grand Master of the Order of Malta Fra ‘Matthew Festing from Rome.The three-day festival concluded on Sunday 22 September with the Holy Mass celebrated in the Cathedral of Aachen, leaded by the Bishop of Münster Henry Timmer with about 1,700 participants and guests.
Malteser Albania was part of these festivities with the participation of its President. H.E. Lucjan Avgustini, and the executive director Mr. Maranaj Marku.
