On May 03, 2017, the medical team of The Albanian Organization of the Order of Malta was in the mountainous Boge area where they managed to offer about 20 medical visits.
The doctor and nurse, which are volunteers, provided free medical examinations to the residents of the area and basic medicines for various problems for free.
During this day, the highest number of visits was made to patients over 45 who had problems with hypertension, rheumatoid arthritis, seasonal viroses etc.
All these patients were offered not only medical examinations and counseling in the direction of health education, but also free medications.
Visits to the mountainous area of Boges are developed within the framework of the medical project in the mountainous areas initiated since 1994.
