During the last week of August in Malteser Albania there have been a lot of activities. Young people, mainly former summer camp participants have “knocked” at the Malteser offices, with one desire: to become volunteers.
Even though they have “touched” somehow the life and the activities of a Malteser volunteer, several meetings, have been held, so that these young people might know better about the Malteser Organization and its activities.In the individual meetings, the young people have told the reason they want to be volunteers or part of the Malteser Youth, and who or what has convinced them for taking this decision; whereas the group meetings have been held that they may know about the history of the Order of Malta and Malteser Albania.
The new members have applied online at the website of Malteser Albania, to fill the membership as volunteers, a new opportunity offered to all who show interest to be part of Malteser.
During the last meeting the new volunteers have begun the course of First Aid, a condition to be a Malteser volunteer. Even the elder volunteers participated to refresh their knowledge.
Wishing fruitful activities to these new volunteers, Malteser welcomes any person, who expresses his desire to be one among the youth and volunteers of Malteser Albania.
