Advent is a time of preparation to worthy celebrate the Christmas feast. This time is also filled with numerous activities for the members of the Albanian Organization of the Order of Malta.
But, except numerous activities held for the people in need, the staff and the volunteers of this Organization have gathered together on December 8, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, for a personal spiritual preparation and celebration with each other.
During the meeting, the spiritual Director of the Organization, Fr. Gazmend Tinaj, reminded the history of the feast, especially with the message that comes from the humble and simple life of the Virgin Mary. On December 8, 1854 Pope Pius IX, with deeply solemn words, proclaimed the dogma of the Immaculate Conception of Mary.
Then the participants continued with the common prayers and a modest dinner in the premises of the headquarter of the Albanian Organization of the Order of Malta.
