This year, except welcoming Roma and Egyptian children, children from rural areas, Malteser organized One-Day Camp with children of Roma families who live in tents in the outskirts of Shkodra.
Twenty-two Roma children, accompanied by their representatives, were welcomed at the camp by the Malteser volunteers and other campers.
For about three hours they played water games, puzzles, cards, and other games, and at the end they danced.
After lunch and the rest, the Roma children were divided in groups and each group had its own activity: handcrafts, paintings, puzzles. At the end of the day, everybody painted their hands on the Malteser Flag.
The Roma children were happy, because, expect enjoying the beach, they had the chance to play and to share with their friends and volunteers.
The activity of this day was commented by the local TV.
