On 28 April 2017, Malteser as one of the service provider has participated in the Regional Round Table of UNHCR with the focus on co-ordination and interconnection between local and regional actors in reception, treatment and assistance to foreigners in need of protection.
All service providers provided information about their responsibilities and collaborated to create synergies in the management of mixed migration flows, in particular effective mechanisms for identifying, referencing and managing cases for vulnerable categories. This Round Table also served to raise awareness on the basic concepts of human rights; legal provisions, various issues, problems identified, exchange of information and sharing of experiences.
