On June 7, with the request of Father Martin Thompson, the parish priest of the church “Shënkoll” in Shkodra, the volunteers of Malteser Albania organized a pilgrimage for disabled people in the Sanctuary of “Saint Anthony” in Laç, Kurbin.
Three Malteser volunteers led by Sister Christiana and Father Martin assisted the physical disabled people reach the mountain, where the Sanctuary is settled, and together they prayed and took part in the Holy Mass, which was celebrated inside the Sanctuary by the parish priest of Laç and other priests.There were three volunteers and 10 disabled people taking part in this pilgrimage, together with the parish priest and the Franciscan sister and two representatives of the church of “Shënkoll”.
