With a population of approximately 3.1 million people and about 7 700 new cancer cases every year, Albania’s demand for cancer care greatly exceeds the available capacity.

In collaboration with the Public Health Directorate of Shkodra, it has organized a fair, in the center of the city, on the awareness of women and girls of different age groups about ways of control and visits to breast and uterus cancer and distributed leaflets.
This is an effort to help women and girls in reducing the stigma of cancer through education on symptoms and treatment.
