During 2017, volunteers of the Albanian Organization of the Order of Malta have been very engaged in organizing numerous humanitarian activities, summer camps, international activities, educational programs, activities with youngsters and children coming from marginalized communities etc.
Last activity for this year was to celebrate Christmas with the girls and children that live at “Missionary House of Mother Theresa”. They were willing to organize Secret Santa.
Secret Santa is a western Christmas tradition in which members of the Malteser group of volunteers are randomly assigned a young girl that lives at the missionary center of Mother Theresa to whom they give a gift two days before Christmas. The identity of the gift giver is a secret not to be revealed. At first volunteers danced with the girls and then provided them with gifts.
