In the frame of the project “Developing the Youth Work within the Order of Malta Relief Organizations in Central and Eastern Europe”, a study visit was organized for the youth of the Albanian Organization of the Order of Malta on March 27-30, in Maltezka Pomoc, in Prague.
The meeting was held in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. There were three Malteser volunteers accompanied by the coordinator taking part.The Study Visit objectives were:
• To be informed about volunteer and youth work of Maltezka Pomoc in Czech Republic.
• To present the Malteser Youth work in Albania (done through a power point presentation)
• To visit the Grand Priority palace, Malteser Church.
• To visit the Homeless people project of Maltezka Pomoc• To be informed about the personal assistance of young people/volunteers to Elderly people project in Prague.
With e great interest, questions and discussions, the participants attended the presentation of the Malteser Youth work held in Albania.
During their stay, the volunteers were invited to take part in the Station of the Cross organized in the Malteser Church “Our Lady under the Chain”.
At the end of the visit, presents were exchanged.
