During the Christmas time, Malteser volunteers and staff developed various festive-activities with marginalized people as Roma and Gypsy children, orphans and disabled people.
On 21 December, the Malteser Albania volunteers have celebrated Christmas and New Year 2011 with girls and children that live at House of “Missionaries of Charity”. There they have celebrated with the children and girls, have distributed them presents and have tried to enjoy the musical-party with them, for these children and girls could feel somehow the atmosphere of the Christmas feast.
This event was followed also by other entertained activities with Roma children with whom Malteser Albania has developed various socio-medical activities.

The volunteers’ fest this year was different, because among our volunteers there were present 40 young girls and boys who live in Shkodra Orphanages.
The celebration started with grateful speech, of our spiritual leader Fra. Gazmend Tinaj, for all the collaborators, leaders, volunteers of Malteser Albania.
Than all the participants enjoyed the delicious food and music select for them.
The fest was organized in the settings of “Kolping” centre. There were 100 people present and the activity was financed by Malteser Albania.
