Advent is the name of the season in which, We Christians prepare for the celebration that commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ. The word Advent comes from the Latin phrase “Adventus Domini”, meaning arrival of the Lord.
This period is filled with numerous humanitarian activities for people in need. But on December 8, members of our organization have gathered together to celebrated the feast of the Immaculate Conception, for a personal spiritual preparation and celebration with each other.
The atmosphere was very welcoming in the settings of the church of”Arra e Madhe”, where the spiritual leader of our Organization, Fra Gazmend Tinaj reminded the history of the Immaculate Conception of Mary.
After the spiritual session, the participants moved to Communitarian Center of Malteser Albania, where they continued conversing with the fathers and with each other, now in the warmth of tea and coffee offered by Malteser Albania.
