The World Conference for the Well-being of Children in Geneva, Switzerland, proclaimed June 1 to be International Children’s Day in 1925.

The children are the ones who celebrate and enjoy this day most. Special events are organized for them – like outdoor activities or different entertaining programs.
The Malteser Kindergarten has organized different activities on this day.
For many days the teachers of two groups have been teaching the children rhymes and songs about their day.

The elder children of the second group (5-6 years old) had more activities on this day. Their teacher first explained them the meaning of this day. Then they colored different drawings, and at last they sang, recited and danced.
The last activity for the children of both groups of the kindergarten was an entertaining time in one of the kids’ centers, where the children played and enjoyed different games.
It is amazing when our children feel happy…
