The sports palace “Qazim Dervishi” in Shkodra, has welcomed on March 28, in Shkodra, hundreds of young people of the Shkodra diocese to celebrate the Diocesan Youth Day under the message “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven” (Mt 5, 3). Part of this activity was even the youth of the Albanian Organization of the Order of Malta.
Present in this activity were the religious leaders, the Archbishop of Shkoder-Pult, Mons. Angelo Massafra, priests, religious, and local leaders, the Mayor, Mr. Lorenc Luka and the County Mayor, Mr. Maxhid Cungu, who warmly greeted this youth activity.
The Archbishop of Shkoder-Pult, Mons. Angelo Massafra, held his speech, putting his stress in the symbol of youth, in the message that the youth conveys about life.
This activity, which lasted for about two hours, was accompanied by an artistic program, where different youth groups performed. The well-known singer, Alban Skenderaj, was also invited in this event.
