The encouragement and education of children of communities in need has always been a priority for the Albanian Organization of the Order of Malta, Malteser Albania.
Besides various medical, social and civil protection activities, for many years, Malteser has lobbied and continues to lobby for the encouragement of the education of Roma and Egyptian children.During 2014, Malteser Albania conducted several awareness meetings at national and regional level in order to involve all stakeholders in the encouragement for the education of these target group children in preschool and school system.
An important element of this awareness campaign is a spot, which is being transmitted and will continue to be transmitted even in 2015 by the national and regional TV: “Together for the education of Roma and Egyptian children”.
