In the frame of the project “Community and Competence Center”, an important activity is the assistance of Malteser Albania volunteers to the disabled children and girls who live at the House Missionaries of Charity (M.C.) Mother Teresa in Shkodra.
During this summer, a special activity was the Two-Day Summer Camp with the disabled girls who live at the M.C house.
Twenty-one disabled girls were welcomed at the camp in a happy atmosphere by the volunteers and the children and were treated with refreshments and cakes. After the welcome, together with the volunteers, they played water games. Then they were accompanied to the seaside, where they enjoyed the beach with different games, swam in the water, and danced. In the afternoons they enjoyed making handcrafts, playing with the other camp participants and dancing. The volunteers, who weekly work with these girls, were involved in making the days wonderful for them.
