During May 13-16, a group of four representatives of Malteser Hilfsdienst in the diocese of Cologne and Neuss Grimlinghaus parish in Germany visited Malteser Albania. The group consisted of Matthias Heiden, Daniel Könen, Dr. Hermann Mackenstein and Stefan Klinkhammer.

A visit in two villages of remote areas, part of the Mountain Project, where Malteser Albania makes medical visits, consults and health education; in Lezha, where together with the Malteser Albania representatives they delivered the Trainers’ Certificates for the First Aid teams of Trainers trained at schools in Lezha, part of the “First Aid Training at Schools”; in the Village of Peace, in the activity organized with the Roma children, part of the project “A further step for the integration of Roma and Egyptian communities in society”; a visit at the Malteser Kindergarten, a project which is supported by the former Ambassador of the Order of Malta in Albania, Pr. Dr. Günther Granser and Malteser Hospitaldienst in Austria.
The visitors met with the spiritual leader of Malteser Albania, Father Gazmend Tinaj, Provincial of the Minor Friars in Albania and with the President of Malteser Albania, H. E. Lucjan Avgustini, Bishop of Sapa Diocese.
